10 Things I Took Home From Eroticon 2017

10 Things I Took From Eroticon my tickle trunk

By now you know that I’ve been to England and back in pursuit of Eroticon, and I spent some time travelling around the country afterwards, hence why this post is over a week late. I want to congratulate Girl On The Net, Molly’s Daily Kiss, and Dom Signs on an amazing job done for Eroticon 2017 – first year under their watch, first year in London, and I couldn’t imagine it being more perfect! I can’t wait for next year, but until then, let’s reminisce over those whirlwind few days in Camden, with this tag from Written By Jenny – 10 lessons, items, and thoughts that I brought back to Canada from Eroticon 2017!

Eroticon 2017: Virtual Meet & Greet

Hello Eroticon My Tickle Trunk

This year will be my first attending Eroticon in London, England, and I’m beyond excited! I’ll take this chance to pass along a HUGE “thank you” to two elements making this possible; first, to the Eroticon crew, for being super generous and giving bloggers like me the chance to attend through their ticket pool. Secondly, to KinkBnB, who will be putting me up in one of their lovely, sex-positive vacation rentals for the weekend!

I’m new to this, but it seems introductions are in order for an Online Meet and Greet before the real deal in two weeks. If you see me, please say hi, because I’m annoyingly introverted. And if you won’t be there, then learn a ‘lil more about me here and keep an eye on Twitter for what I’m sure will be an annoying amount of updates!

Problems With The Everything To Do With Sex Show 2016 (And How To Fix Them!)

I write this with love – truly – because what I saw this year was a show in trouble, and as one of Canada’s few sex shows, this concerns me. Fewer exhibitors, fewer relevant features, and worst of all, fewer people. All hope is not lost, but I’m sure your accountants agree – something needs to change. In fact, looking at photos from past years, it looks like you already know what I’m talking about, simply with the downgrade of leaving Metro Toronto Convention Centre. I’m presumptively taking it upon myself to draw attention to the bad omens, the aspects of the show that need changing, and what can be done to make it better.

For the first time in a year, I’m publishing two blogs on the same day. Why? Because I don’t want to come off as negative, but I also don’t want the Everything To Do With Sex Show to read this and think that everything’s hunky dory. Because it’s not, as you can read in my other post: Problems With The Everything To Do With Sex Show 2016 (And How To Fix Them!)

But that’s not what I’m here to discuss, because while it may not have lived up to my expectations, there were some bright spots and good companies that I really want to shine a light on.

Sexy Favourites for Masturbation May

I’ve never done a favourites post before, and I doubt it’ll become a regular thing because ew, commitment, but May was such an exciting whirlwind of a month for my blog and my sexual adventures that I feel the need to do a roundup. And what an appropriate month to start!

Smut In The 6ix
In case you weren’t around for when I flooded Twitter with #Smut6 news, Spit Magazine and Playground Events hosted Smut In The 6ix; a celebration of smut with a conference and gala all devoted to what we love most: PORN. The panels and their lovely panelists were all so fantastic and passionate about the industry. I’m not someone who’s looking to get into porn (to be honest I wish I had that interest to complete my collection of kinks), but hearing about the ethics, the techniques, and the overall reflection of the feminist porn industry was a huge news flash for me that I very much welcomed.

Highlights of The Everything To Do With Sex Show 2015

Last year was my first year attending the Everything To Do With Sex Show and I think you can’t truly enjoy it until you’ve been more than once. As someone who’s more than comfortable with sex and the sex industry, I don’t think I fully understood what I was walking into then. I enjoyed it, but I think between a lack of money and a still relatively new boyfriend, I didn’t know what could be there for me. We did some seminars, which were interesting, but not the excitement you expect from a sex show.
