I’m a lazy person, and any lazy person will admit to once or twice giving up the prospect of masturbating simply because it’s too much effort. The Fun Factory Stronic Eins is the lazy fuck’s best friend, and something you really have to experience for yourself.
This… vibrator? Dildo? I don’t know, but this toy is COOL (yes, it’s actually a pulsator, but that may not be clear unless you’re familiar with the company). Magnets move back and forth within the Stronic to create a thrusting motion that gives you 1-2 inches worth of hands-free thrust that provides the type of stimulation you would typically get from using a dildo. I held it for what must have been hours, marvelling at the technology as it wobbled back and forth on the palm of my hand. I would show my boyfriend how COOL it was – he took it as a hint that we should use it, but I was more in awe of this amazing piece of technology. Thanks to the sexiest use of magnets you’ll likely ever encounter, this thing holds a bit of weight at 1.2 pounds, and it will also pick up your bobby pins and quarters when you take it on a walk for #DildosDayOut.
It works great with thick thighs; I can just insert it, and my thighs hold it in place with enough give to allow thrust without working its way out of my vagina. It’s waterproof (but I don’t know if I could ever bring myself to dunking it in the tub), and the silicone is a very thirsty matte finish; seriously, the lube barely agrees to stay on the surface of the toy and instead, beads as if someone had the nerve to Scotch Guard my dick.
I like the buttons. It sounds like I’m grasping at straws to compliment a toy when I resort to buttons, but I’ve mentioned before that this matters to me in a waterproof toy. The satisfying click of simple buttons means that this toy is easy to use, with a pretty foolproof travel lock. They also mean that there are enough speeds to decide how quickly or slowly ths toy can fuck you – even a couple patterns I don’t hate!
I’m a bit surprised that it didn’t jump right to the top of my “must-fap” list. I think I still prefer dildos for internal use in the sense that I can control the thrust and get different textures and feelings, but I can’t deny that this is my favourite battery-operated internal toy. Ever. I’m not sure how it could be topped unless it was a fucking machine.
The thrust is the main sell here – unsurprisingly – while the actual stimulation is a pretty solid second. It’s a very inoffensive and beginner-friendly shape, and it’s for that reason that I’d probably rather use a dildo (assuming my wrist it up to the job). But if you want a more evolved shape, there’s always the Stronic Drei, which is a bit more curved for that G-spot stimulation, and textured like a boss (hence why I didn’t choose it). I’d be interested to see more options down the road, but not sure how likely it is that Fun Factory will go outside the few Stronic models they currently have in their repertoire.
I’ve wanted a Stronic ever since I saw one thrusting in Come As You Are’s window display last year and truly understood what this amazing technology could do to my vagina. It really is just as amazing as I’d hoped, but it’s something I always have to remind myself that I even own. I can’t quite put my finger on it. As internal stimulation goes, it may just be a bit too straight forward for me, and even though it removes the work of thrusting a dildo myself and can lend itself well to a fantasy, it’s just not enough to surpass my favourite dicks. It’s great if you want to focus on another area of stimulation, like clitoral or anal, but if you’re craving fullness or variety, then it’s not the toy for that moment. For me, it’s not an exciting sensation, it’s just COOL. The Fun Factory Stronic Eins pretty much just there to fuck you and except nothing in return, which is the most selfless thing a sex toy has done for me so far.
