“Heeeeeeehehe!” I giggled, holding the We-Vibe Tango in my hand amidst a crowd of people and tugging on my boyfriend’s jacket out of excitement. “Feel this! Can you believe that?” What may have looked like a tiny, spinning bullet in my hand was actually radiating through my arm, and I was mesmerized. My boyfriend walked away like he didn’t know me as I began gushing to Helen, the lovely We-Vibe rep, about how stunned I was with its power.
The We-Vibe Tango is quickly making it’s way up there with the Magic Wand Rechargeable and Pure Wand as a toy that can’t get a bad review, and I thought if anyone could give it a bad review, it would be me. The first time I used it wasn’t that impressive – I struggled for a few minutes, and between that pinpoint tip and such a small shape, I found it difficult to find a way for it to work for me. I’d brought out several toys and dildos to test, and was sadly disappointed when it didn’t rock my world; that’s the purpose of the Tango though, to simply be.
It’s my go-to vibrator for so many reasons, but a full-on fuck session isn’t one of them. I leave it in my jewellery box for a quick and quiet de-stress wank, I pop it into my Njoy Eleven storage pouch for the times I’ll need a helping hand, I’ll throw it in my purse if I’m going to my boyfriend’s for the night and I may or may not need some extra stimulation. It’s my most utilitarian vibrator, and I love it for that fact. It’s powerful and compact, but it asks for no fanfare – it does its job in the best way possible, and nothing more!
The number one shock that I have to divulge is that it’s rumbly; like, rumblier than 95% of my full-sized sex toys. If you’re looking for a bullet strong enough to push vibrations through your silicone dildo, then this is totally the one (see below for my personal favourite use). Secondly, if you like pinpoint stimulation, then oh dang, this is for you. The first time I used it with that pointed tip had me giggling from such a delicate little tickle; in fact, it was the first vibrator that really made me realize that I more often than not lean towards broad stimulation. But if you don’t like pinpoint stimulation, then fear not, because this tiny little vibe holds so much power and such a versatile little size that it can be used in so many ways (and it’s quiet to boot).
Personally, I press down hard with the side of the vibe, giving me about an inch of coverage and letting the rumble move through my cupped hands to stimulate the rest of my vulva. It’s lucky for that piece of paper on my wall that I spent a few grand learning how vibrations travel, and lucky for me that I could one day apply it. This is totally worth it. Totally.
I can’t end this review without segueing into my next review, and one of my top uses for the Tango; my other Tango. In fact, the second time I ever used the We-Vibe Tango was with my Fuze Tango, a double-ended dildo with a hole for a bullet in the base. While the We-Vibe Tango falls on the larger side of a bullet vibe, I was still able to shove it into my Fuze Tango and, even though it sticks out a bit, the vibrations were fantastic at getting me off while barely doing anything.
But more on that later…
