Review: Vixen Bandit

Vixen Bandit in Vanilla My Tickle Trunk

When it came time to select some dildos to review from the much-loved Vixen, the Mustang was the obvious choice; the adoration is yelled from the rooftops of pretty much every sex blog I’ve encountered, and mine was no different. But surely Vixen isn’t a one-trick pony, and surely there are others dildos that are worth screaming about?

Well the Bandit is aptly named, because it’s stolen my heart *groooaan*
But seriously, this toy deserves some fanfare as well; less G-spot, less squish, but extra firmness coupled significant girth and testicles? Prrr.

Review: Satisfy Wand by Please

Satisfy wand vibrator on bed by my tickle trunk

Talking about this wand is weird, as was naming this review. Calling it “Please Satisfy” sounds like a desperate plea for when you’re so sick of trying out bad toys that you just want this one to be different. Don’t worry; this isn’t the case.

I’ve been trying to find the words to describe this wand for a while. I first learned about the Satisfy wand by Canadian company Please while watching one of my favourite cam girls, later finding the exact toy on Come As You Are. I’m always consistently impressed by (most) wands, so I make it my mission to try as many wands of any size as I can. The fact that a Canadian company was a part of it? Especially from a Canadian brand.

Review: Vixen Mustang

Vixen Mustang silicone dildo for a review on my tickle trunk

Remember the Tantus Adam? Remember how it was my gold standard in dildos and nothing would ever get better than that?

Hello, Vixen. It’s no secret that every sex blogger in the history of ever is a big supporter of Vixen Creations and touts the virtues of their dual-density silicone dildos. I read about Vixen for years, skeptical of how good a dildo could really be and thinking that it was all just hyperbole. But this isn’t just another superb adult brand… this is a game changer. My Tantus Uncut was best known for first-rate squish, and the Captain by Pleasure Works was a big leap in realism, but none of them hold a candle to Vixen.

Review: MysteryVibe Crescendo

MysteryVibe Crescendo review my tickle trunk

The concept of the Crescendo seemed pretty cool from the get-go, but even from the start, I had my own doubts about how this multipurpose sex toy would be able to satisfy my needs. Nonetheless, I was pleased to hear from MysteryVibe, and my curiosity got the better of me, so now I’m the proud owner of a vibrator that I’ll probably never use again.

Don’t get me wrong – the principle is quite solid; 6 individual motors make up the body of this shape-shifting toy, like the Odo of masturbation. But where others rightfully saw a 100% unisex, pleasure-seeking, all-encompassing revolution in sex aids, I saw a toy that was trying to do too much. The rabbit vibrator is proof that a toy trying to do it all is likely to end up doing nothing, and while the flexible form was indeed intriguing, it was still just a rigid piece of silicone with 6 lacklustre motors instead of one half-decent one.

Review: Fuze Tango Double Dildo

Fuze Tango Double Dildo Review Strap On My Tickle Trunk

Oh how I rejoiced when Happy Valley Silicone agreed to send me a selection of items, and I pulled the Tango out of the box. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t exactly what I hoped for. I jumped, I giggled, and I promptly pulled the beautiful, purple, silicone toy from its packaging to gaze at it in all its glory.

It’s no secret that I like pegging and overall strap-on play, but there’s definitely a gap to bridge between fucking someone with a surrogate dick, and getting real genital stimulation for yourself at the same time. As a cis woman, it’s not so much about having the dick as it is being able use it and get pleasure from the overall experience, so the idea of a strap-on dildo that actually provided female pleasure has been long-atop my wishlist.

Review: O-Wand

o-wand vibrator review my tickle trunk

Sometimes a toy gets everything right.

Ergonomic design? Check.
Premium, body-safe materials? Check.
Decent motor? Check.
Beautiful design? Check.
Waterproof? Check.
Included attachment? Check.
Stunning packaging that you still can’t bring yourself to throw out? Check.
I mean for fuck’s sake, it even comes with plugs for every country so you can plug it into the wall wherever you are. On paper, there is literally nothing wrong with this toy!

This becomes all the more frustrating when I encountered the only problem that could mysteriously derail this review: it can’t make me come.

Review: Magic Wand Rechargeable

magic wand rechargeable review my tickle trunk

This ranks up there with the Pure Wand as another toy that needs no introduction, nor any further fanfare, but too bad. This toy is too important to my collection to not be writing about it. It’s commonly known as the relative to its predecessor, the Hitachi Magic Wand “back massager”, only now sporting a body-safe silicone head, more intensity options, vibrating patterns, and of course – it is now rechargeable and cordless.

I’ve used a mains-powered wand only once before, and the cord was surprisingly unruly. Where did it go during sex? Under me? Over me? To the side? I hadn’t expected to be that strongly opinionated about something as simple as an electric cord, but when it came time to invest in a proper wand vibrator, I did find myself leaning in the direction of cordless (only in part because my landlord took 2 years to fix the short-circuiting outlet beside my bed).

Review: OVO E6

ovo e6 rabbit vibrator review my tickle trunk blog

The OVO E6 has a unique feature, in that it’s the first double-ended vibrator that I’ve ever had the experience of owning; it has one end that features the classic rabbit design, while the other is a bit more thick and rounded and features its own vibrator for internal use. For that reason, this review will be split into two chucks to highlight both ends of this dual-purpose vibe…

Rabbit
I’ll be frank – rabbits, more often than not, suck. And I didn’t have a lot of hope for the E6 when I pulled it out of its clean, white box to find the tiniest, most confusing rabbit layout I could have imagined. The arms have only an inch of difference in length; they’re shockingly thin, flat, and short. I may not be a typical size queen, but I do have some expectations when it comes to toys, and that expectation is that I won’t have ample room to jiggle the toy around inside me. I immediately couldn’t imagine the stimulation to be particularly exciting.

Review: The Captain By Pleasure Works

Review: Pleasure Works The Captain my tickle trunk dildo

The Captain makes me greedy. It makes me want more. It’s so thick and so realistic that it takes my “size doesn’t matter” demeanour and replaces it with “MOAR COCK PLZ”

The Captain is made with Firm Core Silicone from Pleasure Works, consisting of a very firm centre shaft with a very soft, supple coating of premium silicone over top. The overall shape of the dildo is very firm, with not much give or bend to it, but the outer coating provides the perfect amount of give to make this THE most realistic feeling dildo I’ve ever had. The Tantus Uncut #1 takes the prize for most realistic in appearance and detail, but close my eyes and put this in my hand, and the soft, clammy exterior has me fooled.

Review: California Exotics Inspire Remote Teaser

California Exotics Inspire Teaser my tickle trunk review

I keep reading great reviews of the Cal Exotics Inspire line, but obviously I just chose the wrong products, because for fuck’s sake, this thing is bad. If you’re in a hurry, I’ll save you a couple paragraphs: a dying housefly could fall into my pants and buzz away in its last moments of life and it would be about as pleasant as the Inspire Teaser.

Much like I mentioned with the Inspire Wand, it just looks so pretty, and its “travel & tease”-friendly demeanour intrigued me. My man has always been interested in a panty-play toy that we could sneak around with in public, but he’s never even seen this thing, because it doesn’t work.
