Review: FemmeFunn Ultra Bullet

FemmeFunn Ultra Bullet Vibrator in purple with a pink button

The market for ultra-powered bullets has never been more lively; it seems like the best toy you can make these days comes in a compact package with the power of an orangutan and the battery life of clock. The now-classic We-Vibe Tango seemed like the greatest early contender in its field for size, price, and power… but can it be out-done?

Not yet.

For starters, the FemmeFunn Bullet is very flexible compared to the rigid Tango – great for some, not so great for others. I for one like firmness so that I can mash down on my clit and not have to chase after the toy. The hard plastic of the Tango is good for this, but I appreciate the less pinpoint tip of FemmeFunn for those who may prefer a more rounded shape. That’s not to say it makes it any less pinpoint in sensation though; thanks to its flexible shape, it means there’s no escaping the direct power that eliminates from the tip of this bullet, and I for once can find it a bit much when partnered with a buzzier motor.

Review: Satisfy Wand by Please

Satisfy wand vibrator on bed by my tickle trunk

Talking about this wand is weird, as was naming this review. Calling it “Please Satisfy” sounds like a desperate plea for when you’re so sick of trying out bad toys that you just want this one to be different. Don’t worry; this isn’t the case.

I’ve been trying to find the words to describe this wand for a while. I first learned about the Satisfy wand by Canadian company Please while watching one of my favourite cam girls, later finding the exact toy on Come As You Are. I’m always consistently impressed by (most) wands, so I make it my mission to try as many wands of any size as I can. The fact that a Canadian company was a part of it? Especially from a Canadian brand.

Satisfyer Round-Up: Which One Is For You?

Satisfyer Penguin, Satisfyer 1, Satisfyer Pro Deluxe, Satisfyer 2, and Satisfyer Pro 2 by My Tickle Trunk

A common question that brings a lot of readers to my blog is, “Which Satisfyer is best?” While I have my own opinions – as documented in my complete reviews – there isn’t really a finite answer. We all have our own sexual preferences and preferred stimulation, so it’s all about you; I’ve compiled the highlights of each review to compare each model side-by-side and help you decide which Satisfyer is right for your needs.

Satisfyer Pro 2
The original Satisfyer (despite the name) definitely holds up despite its four decent competitors. I know there was a re-issue of the Pro 2 with a rose gold exterior (as opposed to the coppery look of the first edition), and I’ve heard that this re-issue addresses some problem areas like the volume, so my review may be outdated as a result. However, based on my knowledge of the model I own I would happily recommend this for the power queen in your life.

Review: Satisfyer Pro Deluxe

Satisfyer Pro Deluxe Review My Tickle Trunk

The idea of an oral sex simulator never really appealed to me. I’m not sure if that’s what air-based stimulation toys are meant to be, but in using my Satisfyer Pro 2, I never once thought, “Hey, this is like having my clit licked!” – in fact I haven’t thought that about any toy in my entire collection, and if I had, I’m not sure it would have been a compliment. TBH, I can take or leave oral sex; it’s truly the most face-value of sexual acts. It’s good when it’s good, it’s bad when it’s bad; unlike PIV, anal, or blowjobs, a sexy mood can make average sex amazing, but… oral? It frequently takes foreplay from “Oh this is so hot” to “Oh you’re going to do that? Alright, cool. Try it out.” The main flaw in oral sex (from a cis-female perspective, for me, anyway) is that it always just feels like a tongue. A tongue that may be darting as fast as it can and giving me all it’s got, but it’s rarely enough to get me off. It the merely the tongue of a mortal, and there’s no shame in that.

Review: Satisfyer Pro Penguin

Satisfyer Pro Penguin Stimulator Review My Tickle Trunk

I’ve never been much for forced orgasms and I never really thought it was something of which I was capable. If I want to cum, I’ll cum, but forcing me just isn’t going to work. That said, when I finally, mercifully came using this toy, it felt like Satisfyer Pro Penguin was holding me by the neck and forcing me to orgasm, no matter how exhausted and unable to breathe I was.

My positioning for an orgasm is crucial. For the longest time, I could only cum either laying face-down on the bed, or propped against a dresser, applying all my body’s weight to my right hand, pressuring my clit. Eventually, that changed as I learned how to work my G-spot, and I was able to cum laying face-up like most people (with the assistance of toys). But in the majority of these situations, my legs need to be totally outstretched in order to reach climax, so there were still limitations… until the little Penguin waddled along.

Review: Satisfyer 2

satisfyer 1 review my tickle trunk

With my lacklustre Satisfyer 1 experience, the Satisfyer 2 had me hopeful as the next in line for battery-powered clitoral stimulation. However, from the minute I hit the power button on this sleek, medical-looking device, I was sadly disappointed. It’s a sexy little thing; a piece that belongs anywhere from your nightstand to your medicine cabinet, with a long, white appearance that could blend in as a simple ear thermometer. This Satisfyer has the distinct feature of being the only model with 3 buttons – one for power, and two for intensity control. I do like the idea of separate controls, since bypassing your preferred setting can be a real pain in the ass when you need to cycle through all the modes just to find it again. Unfortunately, this feature is only available on what I’d say is the least satisfying Satisfyer there is.

Review: Satisfyer 1

review satisfyer 1 my tickle trunk

Welcome to Satisfyer week on My Tickle Trunk! This week I’ll be publishing a record-breaking FOUR reviews to complete my collection of Satisfyer toys, finishing off with a round-up post comparing all five models, and to help you decide which one is right for you!

Review: Partner Plus Couples Toy

Satisfyer Partner Plus Couples Toy Review My Tickle Trunk

Stick to your day job, Satisfyer.

A while ago I reviewed Satisfyer’s pioneering sex toy, the Satisfyer Pro 2, and until recently it ranked in my top sex toys (it was knocked out of top spot by one of its siblings – more on that in future reviews). They’ve since become a leading name is the market of air-based stimulators, and for very good reason; the unique sensation combined with an accessible price point gives them every competitive edge they could ask for. However, their venture into couple’s vibrators (of which I am hoping is a brief one) has not been nearly as triumphant. However, this isn’t really marketed as a Satisfyer toy, which is why I won’t refer to it as such; I refuse to tarnish that name, and it seems they’ve been smart enough to separate themselves from this effort.

Review: Big Oh! Box Q4 2016

big oh! box sex toy subscription my tickle trunk review

This review is so late that I’m truly ashamed, so a big shout out to Big Oh! Box for being patient with me and not throwing me into the fires of hell. Obviously you can’t get this specific box anymore, but much like my previous reviews of Big Oh!, I more aim to provide an idea of their selection and quality than I do to push certain products. That said, I’m going to do this a bit more in a review-style format, because I have feelings on certain products.

As mentioned before, the boxes seem to come with a built-in theme of the quarter, and this quarter’s theme was something I haven’t had much of a chance to explore: sensation play. It was packed in its usual plain black box with branded interior – which my cat once again fell in love with – and wrapped in their trademark red tissue paper. I haven’t subscribed to a subscription box for a while, but I really never get tired of feeling like I’m opening a present, which is a unique experience that Big Oh! Box continually provides over other guys.

Review: MysteryVibe Crescendo

MysteryVibe Crescendo review my tickle trunk

The concept of the Crescendo seemed pretty cool from the get-go, but even from the start, I had my own doubts about how this multipurpose sex toy would be able to satisfy my needs. Nonetheless, I was pleased to hear from MysteryVibe, and my curiosity got the better of me, so now I’m the proud owner of a vibrator that I’ll probably never use again.

Don’t get me wrong – the principle is quite solid; 6 individual motors make up the body of this shape-shifting toy, like the Odo of masturbation. But where others rightfully saw a 100% unisex, pleasure-seeking, all-encompassing revolution in sex aids, I saw a toy that was trying to do too much. The rabbit vibrator is proof that a toy trying to do it all is likely to end up doing nothing, and while the flexible form was indeed intriguing, it was still just a rigid piece of silicone with 6 lacklustre motors instead of one half-decent one.
