About the trunk

A Canadian review tradition, relaunched by a new team in 2026 — with a shop attached and the same stubborn honesty.

My Tickle Trunk began around 2013 as the personal sex-toy review blog of a Toronto writer who used the pen name Charlotte. For five years she tested, scored and explained toys with a straightforwardness that earned the site mentions across the sex-blogging community.

Charlotte stopped publishing in 2018. In 2026 a small new team acquired the domain and relaunched it as what you see now: a boutique of curated, body-safe adult toys with a review bench attached.

Two things we want to be clear about. First: we are not Charlotte and we do not impersonate her — her bylined work belongs to her, and we link to it only where it remains publicly archived. Second: the editorial standard stays. Products are used before they are sold, reviews score honestly, and a bad pick gets named.

The trunk ships from our fulfillment partners in plain, unmarked packaging. We serve the United States, Canada and Mexico first, in English, French and Spanish, because a Canadian name should at minimum speak both official languages at home.
